Pre-existing injuries or limitations
If you have any concerns about any pre-existing injuries or physical limitations, please consult your doctor and speak with the instructors before your first class. Soo Bahk Do is a balanced martial art, and can be practiced by students regardless of age or fitness, however it is important your instructor is aware of anything that may negatively impact your training.
Martial arts classes can be physically demanding, however that old dodgy knee, creaking shoulder or excess weight is no excuse for not training. Soo Bahk Do relies on the natural use of the body and can be adapted to suit every size and shape. There really is no excuse.
